My Daughter's Poem............ Suddenly I turn around and....
Over the lake, over the mountains, I see a land where I'd love to be Over the lake, over the mountains, I see a land not far from me I see a rainbow with all the colors, Beautiful and bright I see clouds hiding the sun, Exposing the yellow light I see blue skies and sparkling waters, Which add the touch to make it shine I see green grasses and purple flowers, Which I hope someday will be mine I see animals grazing, enjoying themselves, As though they'll never have bad days And I wonder why humans are so different, Why they have their different ways I think of how I'd love to be there, In this land not far from me The land over the lake, and over the mountains, The land where I'd love to be |
